If you're seeking pure polarized performance then take the lead from outdoor professionals worldwide and look at Action Optics' polarized glass series. Freshwater Amber is a very high contrast photochromic lens. The "yellowish" tint enhances depth perception and gathers available light in lower light conditions. Optimum performance for this lens is in medium to low light conditions. All Hour Brown is a lighter density brown photochromic lens that will transmit ample light during lower light conditions and darken with increasing brightness. Performs well for users seeking a lighter density all-around lens. Clearwater Copper is an exceptional general purpose photochromic lens. Copper provides medium contrast with increased definition and is very comfortable and soothing on the eyes. Best usage is in medium to bright conditions.

Best overall sunglasses ever November 1, 2008
We've all tried all kinds of sunglasses. There's something about these though that were better for me. The precision of the lenses, which ?actually helped compensate sl for my nearsightedness? Can't be sure, supposedly magnification neutral, but try these before buying others, especially for around water, the glare reduction is substantial without the fatique of heavy shade. Might not be strong enough for Hawaii. Probably double polarized would be better there. They also fit my face well, and mine's a hard fit.
