| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description PointMaker Hook Sharpener - without a doubt, the finest hook sharpener ever developed. It's being used by professional guides, captains, professional saltwater and freshwater tournament anglers, and world-renowned fly fishermen who demand the very sharpest hooks and accept nothing less than perfection. This "PATENTED" hook sharpener, quite simply, utilizing a gear reduction motor and specialized abrasive wheel, hones the metal correctly without heat buildup to give your hook a degree of sharpness that is in a class by itself and far superior to any factory sharpened hook. It's even used in dental labs and by dentists to sharpen dental instruments. Just compare the before and after shots of hook points under a microscope above. These examples are the very best hooks that you can buy and use out of the package. Made in USA.

| Customer Reviews:
The ultimate hook sharpener August 3, 2008 I fish in Cayman waters for Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin and use Mustad stainless steel hooks. They are great hooks, but not very sharp out of the box. On windy days I sit in my garage with the "PointMaker" quietly whirring away, and put points on my (8/0, 9/0 & 10/0) hooks that are SO SHARP... they are scary! Ive owned my machine for about 10 years and have never had to replace the blade. Wahoo Willie, Grand Cayman, BWI
The Best Hook Sharpener Ever March 25, 2007 I have owned one of these sharpeners for 20 years. For 3 years, back in the mid 80's, I made jigs and spinnerbaits and sold them. Every one was sharpened on the "Point Maker". I have never had to replace the wheel and it still works great. When you get the knack of how to hold your hook to the wheel your on your way to the sharpest hooks you ever owned. With my "Point Maker" I can make any hook twice as sharp as the so called "sharp" hooks they sell today. "WARNING", once you sharpen all your hooks on all your lures with this sharpener "NEVER" reach into your tackle box again without looking. "I LEARNED THE HARD WAY".
