Before you purchase this item, consider Plano's four pistol case instead.
"But why?", you ask.
The molds used to create these two cases appears only to differ with the embossing on the lid, however the pistol case comes with three piece foam inserts instead of two and sports black plastic all over.
I find this second cavity great for storing spare spools, reel oil/grease and the occasional spinning reel handle. Things that might otherwise be cramped in the main cavity or could slide around and bump into your reels.

The case is really good and has cutout foam so you can customize the case for a precise fit. The only gripe that I have is that the plastic is thin, but anything thicker and the case might be too heavy for some. Other than that the case is excellent and I would highly recommend. I'm storing 3 Newell conventional 646 reels that fit perfectly. Plano makes really good products.

This is a quality storage case, great for fishing reels (my use) or any other job you can think of. It is a good value for the money and kudos to Plano for producing quality products in the good ol' USA.
