I was very suprised by the strength of the rods. Very durable. I put all combinations of the rod to the test and am very happy with results. Graphite rod sections fit and are balanced nicely. Probably would'nt try fishing for King Salmon, but anything from bluegill to steelehead is fair game. I own the ultra-light version of the same Eagle Claw pack rod, and am equally happy with it. I bought rods to keep in my truck, and they are perfect! Can't go wrong with this combo. Shipment arrived in 2 days with Amazon Prime. Only negative is description says 5'6"-7'6", but rod only is 6'6" max length.( At least I can't make 7'6" out of it?) Otherwise, no complaints. Great rod!
