These sandals are comfortable and stylish. The hidden compartment fits a room key, a credit card and cash. No need to bring your purse down to the beach. The Velcro strap is flush with the sole so you don't feel it. It keeps the pull-out tray secure. Even with the hidden "drawer", the shoes are not heavy or bulky.
