Amazon.com Product Description Championship Bass is a highly realistic bass-fishing simulation. This fishing game incorporates level-based gameplay to challenge the skills of beginners as well as seasoned anglers. Dynamic camera movement allows several above-water and underwater views. Prepare for more challenging fights: these bass jump, shake, and roll to throw the lure, or they might head for the weeds or dock pilings to break lines. Bass Challenge features six complete real-world lakes that are the top hot spots in the United States for professional bass tournaments and recreational bass fishing, along with a tremendous choice in fishing gear, including hundreds of lures, rods, and reels.

great graphics, little depth January 10, 2004 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this game and isntalled it. Played it for like 10 minutes and pretty much mastered it. But 4 out of 10 times I play it, it either freezes up, or the game shuts off altogether, and that is very frustrating. But the reason that happens is probably cause I have Windows XP. This game is not formatted to run its capability on XP. So, if you like fishing games, its a good one to get ( if you don't have XP ). good fishin'
Not able to play the game April 14, 2003 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I would like to have the game, but it's not for windows XP, so I can't get it. Get some more fishing games for windows XP, and see if I don't buy them.

First you must understand that I am 61 years old. I found this game slightly above my ability to figure out the various options for catching fish. I love to play although my success rate has been somewhat limited. For you younger guys or old time fisherman - this might just be the game for you.
Great fishing game. July 14, 2002 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Although this is the only fishing game I loved it and the price was great too. The graphics were unreal I thought. I only played it for day or so with my 3DFX Voodoo 2000 16mb PCI graphic card. I then upgraded to ATI's Radeon 7500 64mb AGP card and I couldn't get the game to install. I reinstalled Windows 98, disabled my Norton antivirus protector, tried both 800 x 600 pixels and 640 x 480 pixels display settings with no results. I'm a little dissapointed at the Electronic Arts web site. I thought they would have support like patches right there to download but there wasn't. I think they're a great software company though and am confident they will come up with a fix.

This is a very realistic game that is suitable for anyone interested in fishing. Ideal for "us grandpaws" to join in with our grandchildren for enjoyable times. The game might even help youngsters skills in boating and fishing.
