ITS FISHTASTIC May 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i have had this game for a couple of years or more, and i LOVE IT! I love to fish also! This game is lots of fun, and very addictive! My kids and i will play it and before we know it 3 hours have gone by! Now i turn the music off so i can hear the sounds of "nature" but i do not have anything bad to say about this game!
Not what I thought it would be June 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Compared to the other fishing titles I have played, this one is so-so..not the best. The graphics are very nice though and the bass look almost real which is cool. My beef is that you can only troll the boat (not drive the boat), you have no reel, rod, or line options, and not enough lure selection which is extremely limited IMO. If you are ok with those things, then you will probably like it. But if you are like me, then you will wish you would have saved your money for something else instead.
WORST FISHING GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED! February 16, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this game used, thank god, because it totally sucked. I fish a lot in real life and have played a lot of fishing video games over the years and this game just doesn't measure up. There's no way to customize the controls/buttons. Once you entice a fish to bite, The mechanism for hooking the fish sucks. The music is just plain annoying. The lure doesn't track realistically in the water. There was no way to pre-set the drag on the reel before fishing, which resulted in more lost fish. There was no under water view like in a lot of fishing games. The only good thing about this game was the pretty graphics. One star was way to generous of a rating for this game. Don't waste your money on it.
Great Game to cure the fishing itch January 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Its not over complicated, pretty good controls.. simple.. and a great price =)
One of the more addictive games I've ever played... June 10, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
And I'm not in any way a fisherman. The graphics are excellent and you don't have to be a great gamer to have fun at it. I particularly enjoy the tournament mode as the natural scenery, music, weather conditions, time of day and season change for each episode. It's also a great game to share with your family as everyone likes it! It's even a bit educational, as long as the subject is bass! The lure of catching the BIG one is irresistable. (And don't worry, you don't actually have to kill any fish, you just put them in a livebox...)
