Fun and Annoying December 4, 2008 This game is captivating and often quite fun- when it's not a pain in the rear end!
The controls are sometimes skittish. Once we got trapped between a ladder and a corner and couldn't escape except by exiting the game. And sometimes it's just frustrating to figure out what to do next.
But even with all that, we continue to play it so much that we completed the first episode already. And typically, we only play a game a day or two before getting bored of it and ignoring it for a month.
In the end, buy it- if it's on sale.
Fun but glitchy! December 4, 2008 Lots of little glitches, but still a fun game nonetheless. It is comical to play this game, and quite entertaining. The puzzles are easy, and you can move through the game fairly quick so far...but I will admit that I am not completely finished yet. Playing with two players is fun, but you have to keep close to each other or one can pull the other off a cliff and kill em - but have no fear, they come right back to life!! I am enjoying playing this game, and I have never watched one Indiana Jones movie...yep, I know all of you fans think I am an alien, but I just have had no desire. Next I want to try the Wii Star Wars lego - and NO I haven't seen any of those movies either. I tried to watch one many moons ago, but I couldn't get into the movie, I kept thinking of other things I could be doing.
Lots of fun December 3, 2008 I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan, and my son got me interested in the Lego video games with Star Wars. This game met all my expectations, I set up my own profile to play after he went to bed. My son is 5, by the way, and found the game challenging but a lot of fun.
PROS: Action was fun, but not hair-pulling hard. Some of the secret treasures are so well-hidden that a Walkthrough was needed, but there are plenty on the Internet....but figuring them out is really rewarding. Animations and sounds are good. Took me a few weeks to finish everything, so a good value in my mind.
CONS: The only bug I had with the Wii version was that sometimes a character with a gun would just start shooting when the B button (trigger) was not touched in any way. Happened with both controllers, so not a sticky button. I learned to quickly switch characters so I didn't waste ammo when this happened. Also, it's shorter than Star Wars, naturally, since it's only 3 movies and not 6. But the chapters tend to be longer. There is not as much humor as in the SW series. And there are not too many extras after you finish everything.
THOUGHTS: I originally got this on the PC. Avoid that like the plague. There is far more bunny-hopping in this than in Star Wars, and is impossible with mouse and keyboard. But the Wii controllers make it a cinch. Anyways, lots of fun, buy it!
Super Cool and I love it November 30, 2008 My son is 7 years old and he can not get enough of this game. He and his father play it because they like it and they want to get to every level. It is not too hard but not to easy a 7 year old and a 41 year old play together and each finds different thing out. I would recommend it for all ages.
Indy Lego November 22, 2008 It was fun to play through, although it's a Lego series. Reply value is low because there aren't many variations on game play. I could see kids adding one more star to the overall rating.
