| Customer Reviews:
Fun for all ages November 27, 2008 We bought this game after we got our Wii. The MAJOR incentive is that it comes with the Wii remote. And how much does the remote itself go for? It's like $30 or something like that? So, the game itself is only about $15.
Having said that, don't expect that you're paying $45 for a game. The cost mostly comes from the remote.
It's a good "starter" game, since there are several different types of games - shooting, table tennis, fishing, pool, etc. It's pretty kid-friendly and doesn't take any genius to learn how to play the games. It's the type of game where you can play for just a few minutes or for hours.
I give it 3 stars because it's not not even close to being a mind-blowing game, but it's decent. You don't have to be a video game junkie. I think that's what makes this game great for the whole family - mom, dad, little sister, big brother, grandma and grandpa.
Cheap Game November 24, 2008 I would say the tank game may be worth $5 or $10 and the others combined about $5 or $10. So it's worth the $10 more then the controller alone, but barely. They probably could not sell this game on its own. Do expect much and you will not be disappointed.
Ok for the $10 over the remote price November 23, 2008 The games initially have to be played in sequence to "unlock" them all. An adult with competent game play skills can do it in maybe 30 minutes.
The games are ok, short but ok. They are almost like teaser games for something larger. My kid enjoys them and that is all that mattered to me, it is her Wii. What I bought was a used version of the product for about a $12 savings and the remote I got from my seller was broken.
Wii Sport is more fun November 19, 2008 I like the games that it comes with for the price. BUT, I think that Wii Sport's games are more fun.
Wii Play: Great Combo Deal November 17, 2008 What's nice about Wii Play is that it's a combo package: one Wii Remote and the actual Wii Play game.
The game is intended for practice to get used to the Wiimote. Although some games don't make sense (Pose Mii game, in which you have to line up your Mii in falling bubbles), most are very fun. In my opinion, the Shooting Range and Tanks are the best of the mini games.
If you're going to buy another Wiimote anyway, pick up the Wii Play package; it'll add a little more fun to your console.
